A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
Read More Show LessEver since honeymooners discovered Niagara Falls, brides have felt an affinity for waterfalls. So it’s no wonder that Glen Ivy proudly showcases not one, but three impressive cascades, including a spectacular two-tiered beauty. But start to explore this Inland Empire venue and you’ll find even more to appreciate.
Located on the same sprawling complex as the Glen Ivy Hot Springs & Spa (pre-wedding bridal party, anyone?), the golf course begins to reveal itself as you climb towards the clubhouse. This modern, low-slung building has a slate façade and is landscaped with thick shrubbery, queen palms, and a graceful willow that sways in the breeze.
To the right is the outdoor ceremony site, a lush, wide lawn with a paved bridal aisle leading to a wood pergola altar. Framed by colorful blooming hedges and a towering oak tree, you and your beloved tie the knot against a picturesque backdrop of the 9th-hole pond, where water flowing from all the falls merges. In the distance, the verdant mountains of the Cleveland Forest are a nice contrast to the earth tones of Temescal Canyon below.
After vows are exchanged, it’s time to raise a glass of champagne at the Canyon Grille, situated at the back of the clubhouse and reachable via a dramatic walkway, marked with stone pillars and a redwood lattice roof. The views from this bright, open restaurant/bar and its adjacent terrace are fantastic. Guests can mingle at the stainless-and-granite bar or step outside to drink in the wide-angle panorama, from the Chino Hills to the manicured fairways and rugged forest beyond.
Join your party for dinner and dancing in the reception tent. The draped cathedral ceiling, wall-to-wall windows, and modern chandeliers give this space an airy, indoor/outdoor feel—with the added benefit of year-round climate control. Ample room for a DJ station keeps the party going well after the sun sets, and lights from hillside homes set the night aglow.
